STFC Wins 6 Medals at OFSAA!!!

Congratulations to STFC athletes Rita Rudell, Erika French, Kevin Bowman, Mat West, and Caitlyn MacMillan who travelled to Hamilton on June 5th-7th to compete in the OFSAA Track and Field Championships.

West, Bowman, French, and MacMillan all medalled at the championships. West won a silver medal in the midget boys high jump (1.84m) and a bronze in the discus (44.85m) Bowman won two silver medals in the midget boys shot put (14.41m) and the discus (47.94m). He also placed 5th in the javelin with a toss of 48 meters. MacMillan was the silver medallist in the junior girls 300mH with a time of 45 seconds. French cleared 1.61m in the junior girls high jump to take home the bronze. Rita Rudell cleared 1.63m in the senior girls high jump placing 4th, and finished fifth in the 100mH with a time of 15.31 seconds.
