OTFA Cross Country Championships

STFC athletes travelled to Sunnybrook park in Toronto November 16th to compete in the provincial cross-country championships.The STFC Youth women's team placed 4th, and the STFC Masters 30-39 team won their second provincial title for the season. The team of Barrett, Bauman, Stevenson and Weppler won the provinical 8k championship on November 2nd, then came back to win the 5k title on November 16th. Additionally Jason Weppler (30-34), Jeff Barrett (35-39) and Shelly Price (30-34) were all individual age group GOLD medalists yesterday. Other top 5 finishers were Bevin Stevenson 2nd  (30-34), Marvin Bauman 5th (30-34), Cheyenne Hunter 5th (youth girls)and Ken Gosleigh 3rd (40-44). 31 Saugeen Track and Field Club athletes competed at the Provincial Championship meet yesterday.
